When I wasg growing up my mother had your "kindred smiles" cassette as well as 2 Second Opinion cassettes. I believe one was self-titled and the other was "Just a Bit Closer." I very much enjoy your music, in particular your versions of "Music In My Mother's House" and "What Will I Leave." Are these albums available on CD at all? I can't find these recordings online anywhere and would love to hear them again!
It's been so many years I can scarcely remember. Probably about 1991 or so at the Rockford Folk Festival. I know I saw you soon again...or before....perhaps at the Great River Folk Festival in LaCrosse. Oh how the memory dims.
Well I just wanted to let you know that I pulled up you cassette "Kindred Smiles" circa 1988 and listened again tonight. Your voice is so crisp, clear, and utterly unforgettable that I was drawn back to those times when I looked out from the audience in awe and admiration. It was a special time and moment that is etched in my memory. While the details may dim in memory, the feelings that your concert evoked is forever etched in the feelings of my heart.
